Biographical Note:
Damian has been longlisted for the ‘Fish Publishing International Short Story Prize 2011’ and the ‘Ink tears Short Story prize 2011’. He was runner up in the Over the Edge New Writer of the Year Competition 2011 and has been published in ‘The Crannóg Literary magazine’ in Summer 2011.  He has also published several critical articles in newspapers and magazines over the last ten years. In July of 2011 he was joint winner in the ‘Lonely Voices short story Introductions’ series as run by the Irish Writers centre. He is currently working on a play based on the Táin Bó Cúailng . He is also working on his first collection of short stories which he hopes to complete in May of this year.
